Man, 35, dies after Lakeland ATV crash
LAKELAND, FL – A man’s life was claimed in an ATV crash on Wildlife Trail near Lakeland Saturday.
According to ABC Action News, for reasons unclear, a green 2023 Polaris Sportsman 570 ATV flipped over, trapping its driver underneath.
A passerby found the driver of the ATV under the vehicle and called 911. First responders rushed to the scene around 9 p.m. and extricated the trapped man.
The man, later identified as 35-year-old Roger Tyler, Jr, was hospitalized and suffered fatal injuries.
A preliminary finding showed that Tyler was not wearing his seatbelt. No additional information is available at this time.
