Man, 36, killed in fatal Pinellas Park hit-and-run
PINELLAS PARK, FL – A 36-year-old man lost his life after he was struck by a driver who fled the scene Sunday, ABC Action News reported.
This fatal hit-and-run took place around 9 a.m. in the 4200 block of 62nd Avenue. The man, who was later identified as Michael Vilaysack from St. Petersburg, was found dead in a ditch and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Pinellas Park Police Department said they believe the suspect was driving a gray Hyundai Accent, which is between a 2018 and 2022 model. They said it was significant damage to the passenger side and no longer as a passenger side mirror.
