Man, 43, killed in crash with utility poles in Fort Myers
FORT MYERS, FL – A 43-year-old man died after he crashed his vehicle into several small utility poles and a traffic signal post on Tuesday.
This single-vehicle collision took place at the SR 82 and Gateway Boulevard junction before 2 a.m., NBC-2 reported. The unidentified man from Fort Myers succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene.
Officials shut down the intersection for several hours to clear the scene and gather evidence.
