Man, 44, loses life in golf cart, propane truck wreck in Fort Myers
FORT MYERS, FL – A 44-year-old man operating a golf cart went off the road, had overcorrected and then struck a propane truck, leading to his death Saturday.
Florida Highway Patrol told NBC-2 that the events unfolded when the truck driver (who was way in front of the golf cart) traveling on northbound Winkler was struck by the golf cart.
The truck driver and golf cart passengers sustained minor wounds, while the golf cart driver immediately succumbed to fatal wounds.
