Man, 51, killed in single-car crash in Plant City

PLANT CITY, FL – A driver did not properly negotiate a curve, which caused his car to drift off the road and suffer fatal injuries Tuesday.

The collision occurred after 11 p.m. when the driver was heading west on SR 60 and lost control of the car before hitting a guardrail, FOX 13 News reported.

The car continued to travel on the highway and drove into an embankment before coming to rest. The driver, a 51-year-old man, was killed at the scene.
