Man, 56, fatally struck by hit-and-run driver in Union Park
ORLANDO, FL – A 56-year-old man walking on East Colonial Drive near Dean Road in Union Park lost his life after he was hit by a driver who fled the scene Monday.
This crash happened around 6 a.m. when the pedestrian walked against the traffic light, according to Click Orlando.
FHP said the pedestrian, from Brooksville, was rushed to the hospital, where he later passed away.
Florida Highway Patrol believes the suspect was driving a “maroon 2007-2010 Acura TL or MDX with a missing passenger side mirror.”
