Man, 63, fatally struck by car on U.S. 41 in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A 63-year-old man, a Tampa local, succumbed to fatal wounds when he was hit by a Mazda 3 car as he was crossing the U.S. Highway 41 Sunday.
This collision occurred around 8 p.m. north of 118th Avenue East, northwest of Busch Gardens, WTSP reports.
Florida Highway Patrol said the Mazda driver is a 35-year-old man, also a Tampa resident.
Troopers have not confirmed the contributing factors behind this crash but did say criminal charges haven’t been filed.
