Man, 63, killed in Bonita Springs crash with cable barrier, truck
BONITA SPRINGS, FL – A sedan driver – a 63-year-old man – died after getting hit by a pickup truck on I-75 and struck a cable barrier Tuesday.
This collision occurred before 5 p.m. when the sedan driver was traveling in the middle lane and switched over to the left, NBC-2 said. He cut off a truck driver traveling in the left lane, and as a result, both vehicles collided. The force of the crash then led the sedan driver to swerve off the interstate and crash into a cable barrier.
The truck driver sustained serious injuries, and the sedan driver was sent to a hospital, where he later died.
