Man, 73, loses life in scooter-motorcycle wreck in North Fort Myers
NORTH FORT MYERS, FL – A 73-year-old man riding a mobility scooter lost his life when he collided with a motorcycle at Palm Avenue and Hancock Bridge Parkway Monday.
The collision was reported around 5:45 p.m., as indicated in a NBC-2 report. The 73-year-old man succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene, while the motorcyclist was seriously injured, and the motorcycle passenger — a woman — sustained minor injuries.
The motorcyclist occupants did not wear helmets.
