Man critically hurt, 9-year-old girl killed in Jacksonville rear-end crash
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A 25-year-old man sustained critical-life-threatening injuries, and the 9-year-old girl with him died after a rear-end crash Friday.
According to ActionNews Jax, this collision occurred on I-95 amid a construction zone when the sedan driver – the 25-year-old man – did not yield or stop and crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer.
The force of the collision sent the vehicles facing a southbound direction and blocked the right and center lanes.
The tractor-trailer driver – a 38-year-old man – was unharmed.
