Man in his 20s killed in solo-vehicle crash in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A single-vehicle collision on the 10300 block of Old Plank Road claimed a man’s life Saturday.
The collision took place around 8:15 p.m. on the westbound lanes, Action News Jax reported.
It is unclear why the driver drifted off the road and crashed into a ditch. The impact caused him to be thrown from his Chevrolet Silverado because he did not wear a seatbelt.
He then succumbed to fatal injuries.
Officials have not released the name of the man, but they did say he was in his 20s.
Updates will be posted when they become available.
