Man killed, 2 hurt after getting hit by semi outside Tampa club
TAMPA, FL – A driver of a cab of a semi-truck hit many men waiting along the Emperors Gentlemen’s Club, leading one to die and two to sustain injuries Tuesday.
This collision happened before 4:30 a.m., when the driver of the semi was kicked out of the club, located at 5718 East Adamo Drive, and hit the men standing outside, according to a City of Tampa press release.
Officials said the two men who were injured are expected to be OK, and the truck driver suffered critical injuries as a result. As it stands, the driver is in stable condition and was taken into custody.
Charges are pending.
