Man loses life after hitting vehicle while trying to pass traffic
ORLANDO, FL – A 24-year-old man, tried to pass traffic and collided with another vehicle, leading his vehicle to roll over and him getting ejected, resulting in his death.
This collision happened on CR 526 West on Thursday, Nov. 23, according to WESH. Florida Highway Patrol said the 24-year-old had “entered a continuous left turn lane” after trying to pass traffic in a no-pass zone. As a result, he “overcorrected and lost control” of his vehicle when he struck the back tire of the other automobile. The man’s car then landed on its roof. Despite rear-ending the other vehicle, the other motorist (who remained at the scene) was unharmed.
First responders rushed the 24-year-old to Orlando Regional Medical Center and was in serious or critical condition before succumbing to fatal wounds.
Officials launched an investigation and have not released other details at this time.
