Man seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash in Naples
NAPLES, FL – One man was sent to the hospital for serious injuries after a pickup truck driver rear-ended his SUV on I-275 and then fled the scene Saturday.
The impact of this collision led the SUV to overturn and land on the right side of the shoulder, NBC-2 revealed. First responders took the SUV driver — a 51-year-old man from Lehigh Acres — to an area hospital where his current condition is unknown.
As of yet, Florida Highway Patrol troopers have not provided a description of the suspect and their vehicle. Troopers advise the public to reach out to the phone number provided in the initial source if they can provide more details.
