Man seriously hurt in Lauderdale Lakes shooting

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL – A man was sent to the hospital after a shooting along Oakland Park Boulevard Thursday. 

According to WSVN, a woman and the man with the gunshot wound drove to a fire station in a black Nissan sedan and notified officials of the incident that took place. 

Officials said a driver of a white Altima and a black Altima shot at each other. A bullet mark was seen on the black Altima on the passenger side (on the rear.) 

The man was taken to Broward Health Medical Center with serious injuries. 

There is no official word on his current condition or other details surrounding the shooting.
