Man, woman killed in Miami chain-reaction wreck
MIAMI, FL – A Ford SUV driver was said to have been speeding when he rear-ended a female driver’s car, leading to his and her death and resulting in a chain-reaction crash Saturday.
This collision happened on U.S. 1 South near Southwest 132nd Avenue, according to NBC Miami.
Florida Highway Patrol revealed the woman, who was operating a red Nissan, was waiting at a traffic light when she was hit. After she was struck by the man, she and him died from their wounds at the scene, and four other vehicles collided immediately after.
FHP said those involved in the secondary collision suffered minor wounds.
