Man, woman pass away in ATV wreck in Groveland
GROVELAND, FL – A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman lost their lives after getting ejected from their ATV, which overturned, upon colliding with a tree Wednesday.
This solo collision occurred around 3:15 p.m. at the North Austin Merritt Road and Ward Drive intersection, according to Click Orlando. Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene and said the driver lost control of the ATV, which continued to the crash.
Troopers do not publicly announce the names of people who lose their lives in collisions or other personal-related injuries, but they did confirm that the man was from Sanford and the woman from Davenport.
