Miami Beach officer hurt in 2-vehicle collision

MIAMI, FL – A Miami Beach Police officer suffered minor injuries after colliding with another vehicle along the Kendall Village Center Wednesday, WSVN said.

This crash happened after 8 a.m. at the Southwest 122nd Avenue and Southwest 88th Street junction. The impact left significant damage to the cruiser, and debris was scattered around the intersection.

It is not exactly clear what brought about this collision, if the officer was on the job at the time of the crash, and if one or both parties were taken to a hospital.
