Miami-Dade officer, civilian hospitalized after Florida City crash
FLORIDA CITY, FL – First responders rushed a civilian and a Miami-Dade police officer to hospital after a two-vehicle collision around 6:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Local 10 said the two individuals sustained wounds when their vehicles collided at the SW 344th Street and SW 177th Avenue junction, west of the Southern Comfort RV Resort. Both were transported to Baptist Hospital and are expected to survive as they are in stable condition.
Miami-Dade Police are investigating the exact details of this collision and have not yet confirmed which driver had the right of way or if charges will be brought.
