Miami-Dade officer, female driver hurt in Palmetto Estates collision
MIAMI, FL – A female driver was driving away from a shopping center when she collided with a Miami-Dade police car, injuring herself and the officer in the process Monday.
This crash happened before 10 p.m. at the Southwest 113th Avenue and Southwest 152nd Street intersection in the Palmetto Estates neighborhood. Authorities told WSVN that the officer received medical attention on-site for minor wounds, while the woman was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening wounds.
