Miami-Dade officer hospitalized after East Little Havana crash

MIAMI, FL – A Miami-Dade officer was sent to a hospital as a precaution after their patrol vehicle collided with a car in the East Little Havana area Tuesday.

This collision occurred at the Southwest 12th Avenue and Southwest 7th Street junction, according to WSVN.

Scattered debris was seen on the road, and the police cruiser sustained some moderate front-end damage. Officials did not report any sustained wounds for the civilian motorist and confirmed the officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
