Motorcyclist killed in hit-and-run on SR 618 in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A man’s life was claimed in a hit-and-run crash on the State Route 618 Expressway entrance Wednesday.
The collision occurred around 9 p.m., according to WTSP. A tow truck hauling a yellow school bus turned left from U.S. 301, entered a motorcyclist’s pathway, and hit him.
The tow truck driver did not render aid and fled the scene. The motorcyclist, a 49-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
