Motorcyclist killed in Hunters Creek crash caused by driver turning
HUNTERS CREEK, FL – A driver of a 2014 Kia Soul made a right turn in front of a motorcycle, leading both vehicles to collide and resulting in the motorcyclist losing his life.
This collision took place around 3 a.m. along Gatorland next to Cypress Crossing Drive, Click Orlando said. Florida Highway Patrol said when the vehicles made contact, the driver of the Kia Soul hit the motorcycle’s left back tire. Despite the motorcyclist wearing a helmet, he succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene.
FHP does not publically release the names of those who died in motorcycle collisions. As such, they won’t identify the motorcyclist but did say he was a 39-year-old man. In addition, they said the Kia driver, a 38-year-old woman from Orlando, was sent to a hospital for treatment of minor wounds.
