Multi-auto wreck, with rollover in Miami Gardens, sends 2 to hospital

MIAMI GARDENS, FL – An adult and child were taken to a hospital after a three-vehicle collision led one red car to overturn on its side Wednesday. 

WSVN said this wreck happened at the westbound Miami Gardens Drive and Northwest 17th Avenue junction along a gas station. 

Prior to crews arriving, some helping hands helped the adult and child get out of the overturned car. First responders took the adult to a hospital via an ambulance, while one child was flown by helicopter to a hospital. It is unclear what kind of injuries they suffered. Their conditions are unknown at this time. 

Eastbound traffic remained open while officials shut down the westbound lanes to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation period.
