Multi hit-and-run crash in Miami claims life of 29-year-old man
MIAMI, FL – A 29-year-old man passed away at a hospital following a multi-hit-and-run wreck reported in the Little Gables area Monday.
Police told WSVN this three-vehicle collision occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the vicinity of 43rd Avenue and Southwest 8th Street.
The impact of this crash, led one of the vehicles to strike some street signs and a metal light pole, and two of the cars to come west along a Walgreens pharmacy, indicating debris scattered across the parking lot.
Local police said one driver, whom they described as a white Hispanic man, had fled the scene on foot, going westbound. Officers said the man is around 6 feet tall, clean-shaven, and was seen wearing a white T-shirt and pants that were an unknown color.
The collision has since cleared.
