No injuries reported in fiery collision with JSO car
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office deputy and another driver were able to escape injuries after their vehicles collided and one of them caught on fire Wednesday.
Florida Highway Patrol told News 4 Jax that prior to the crash (which happened on I-95 near Forest Street), the officer, for reasons unclear, was pursuing the other driver. After the officer crashed into the other vehicle, that second car caught on fire. Troopers also said the second driver collided with a guardrail.
