Occupants unharmed as car crashes into Weston canal
WESTON, FL – Occupants inside a partially submerged sedan managed to physically escape their car and were spared from injuries upon colliding in a canal off U.S. 27 Friday.
WSVN said this solo collision took place in the afternoon between Griffin Road and I-75. Fire crews were initially called to the scene, but their services were canceled when the driver was able to get out on their own from their slightly damaged vehicle, a gray-colored sedan.
Broward County deputies were among the first responders summoned to this collision site and have declined to share the contributing factors behind this minor crash.
