Officials called to multi-vehicle crash on Midpoint Bridge

FORT MYERS, FL – First responders are investigating a multi-vehicle wreck that happened on the eastbound lanes on Midpoint Bridge around 11 p.m. Thursday.

Officials shut down the eastbound lanes to clear the wreckage and reopened all lanes several hours later, NBC-2 indicated.

The exact details of this wreck remain unclear. Emergency crews have also not revealed if anyone was injured.
