Officials shut down lanes on Matthews Bridge due to injury crash

JACKSONVILLE, FL – A multi-vehicle crash with reported injuries on Matthews Bridge prompted officials to close the west and eastbound lanes Thursday evening. 

According to WOKV, motorists in this area may want to avoid this area. It is not immediately clear what caused this collision, how many vehicles and people were involved, or the severity of injuries sustained.
