One dead after 2-vehicle crash on Goldenrod Road in Orlando
ORLANDO, FL – A woman’s life was claimed in a two-vehicle crash around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Click Orlando, the collision occurred on North Goldenrod Road near Chapel Trace Drive.
For reasons unknown, a woman was standing in the northbound lane of North Goldenrod and was hit by a 2014 Toyota 4Runner. She fell to the ground and was struck by a black car. The driver of the black vehicle did not render aid and fled the scene.
The driver, a 29-year-old woman, and passenger, a 28-year-old man, of the 2014 Toyota remained at the scene and were unharmed.
The woman was taken to AdventHealth East Orlando, where she succumbed to fatal injuries.
