One dead after SUV, motorcycle crash in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A motorcyclist’s life was claimed in a collision on the northbound lanes of Ellis Road South Thursday.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 9 p.m., First Coast News reported. The motorcyclist was traveling on the north while a driver of an SUV was driving south when both collided head-on.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
