One killed in Miami Gardens car-pedestrian crash
MIAMI GARDENS, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed after getting hit by a car near Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex Monday.
The collision was reported after 5:30 p.m. on the 2700 block of NW 199th St., WSVN reported. Officials said the pedestrian crossed the westbound lanes of NW 199th St. when a driver traveling south on NW 27th Ave. struck the person.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. At the time of reporting, the area was closed for investigation.
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. The person’s name, gender, and identity have not been released.
