Orlando rollover crash on SR 417 claims 69-year-old man’s life
ORLANDO, FL – A fatal rollover crash on SR 417 claimed a 69-year-old man’s life after 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, WESH reported.
Florida Highway Patrol said that an 18-year-old man, for reasons unclear, lost control of his car, which caused it to swerve and strike a vehicle traveling in the lane next to him.
The force of the collision caused the second car to roll over, and the man from that vehicle was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The 18-year-old man was spared from harm, remained at the scene, and cooperated with investigators.
The northbound lanes of SR 417 closed, and drivers were advised to take Moss Park instead at the time of this report.
