Pedestrian critically hurt in hit-and-run in East Naples
EAST NAPLES, FL – A pedestrian was taken to a hospital for critical, life-threatening wounds after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver Saturday.
This collision happened around 11:30 p.m. on Shadowlawn Drive. According to NBC-2, eyewitnesses told Florida Highway Patrol that the suspect was said to have driven a black four-door truck with “orange and red triangular racing stripes” that could be on the “side and chrome wheels” when they hit the male pedestrian standing on or along the road.
Troopers have not yet provided a description of the suspect. The pedestrian — an unidentified 45-year-old man — is still recovering from his wounds.
