Pedestrian hospitalized after crash in Tampa
TAMPA, FL – A pedestrian was transported to a local hospital after getting hit by a car while crossing the intersection of East Busch Boulevard and North 19th Street Tuesday.
This collision happened before 9:45 a.m., WFLA reports. Tampa Police, who were among the first responders, said crews had to shut down westbound and eastbound Busch Boulevard to accommodate the scene clearance process.
All lanes have reopened since, and the pedestrian is currently listed in stable condition.
Tampa Police said the driver remained at the scene but did not mention citations or pending charges.
