Pedestrian seriously hurt in crash with car in Tarpon Springs
TARPON SPRINGS, FL – A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a silver Chevy Impala on the 39016 block of U.S. Highway 19 North Saturday.
The crash was reported before 3:45 a.m., according to ABC Action News. The passenger side of the Impala struck 42-year-old Issam Hatimi of New Port Richey. The impact caused him to come to rest by the eastern guardrail.
Medics rushed Hatimi to a Bayonet Point Hospital.
The driver is cooperating with police. Pending charges were not revealed.
