Person dies as vehicle overturns on I-75 in Pembroke Pines
PEMBROKE PINES, FL – A rollover collision under the I-75 overpass claimed one person’s life Thursday afternoon, NBC Miami reports.
This collision, which occurred around 2 p.m., prompted at least five police cruisers to pull up to the scene. The exact details behind this wreck remain unclear, although a white car with significant damage, with the hood popped up, was seen on one lane.
Due to the nature of this crash, first responders, which includes Florida Highway Patrol, had to shut down three lanes, and left two of the left lanes open to accommodate the flow of traffic.
Amid traffic delays, drivers were asked to seek alternative routes if possible.
FHP has yet to release a formal statement regarding the events that led to this rollover accident or state the victim’s age, gender, and place of residency.
