Pickup truck driver loses life in crash with Publix semi in Miami
MIAMI, FL – A driver of a Ford F-250 pickup truck lost their life after striking a Publix semi-truck turning left in the Norland area Monday.
CBS Miami said this crash happened at the junction of Northwest 183 Street and Northwest Miami Court. Once the vehicles collided, that’s when the pickup truck became trapped under the semi-truck, and the pickup truck motorist succumbed to fatal wounds.
Tow trucks and other first responders had to lift the semi-truck in order to free the smaller truck, which was successfully achieved.
Despite the nature of this wreck, the semi-truck driver was unharmed.
The contributing factors behind this crash, as well as the victim’s age, gender, and place of residency, have not been revealed.
