Plane collision near St. Pete Pier sends 3 men to hospital
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Three men hospitalized after their private Cherokee plane experienced an engine failure and crashed near the St. Pete Pier Tuesday.
St. Petersburg Fire Rescue told Tampa Bay Times this happened before 11 a.m. when the men, between 25 and 40, were coming from the Albert Whitted Airport trying to flee Florida before the expected Hurricane Milton is expected to make waves throughout the state.
