Preteen cyclist airlifted to hospital after crash in Clearwater
CLEARWATER, FL – A 12-year-old riding a bicycle was airlifted to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg after getting hit by a car Tuesday.
This collision happened before 8:30 a.m. at Palmetto Street and Vine Avenue, according to ABC Action News.
Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue said the boy is listed in serious condition and confirmed the driver remained at the scene.
Police have not provided a formal statement at this time.
