Pursuit ends in 4-auto crash caused by shooting suspects in Miami
MIAMI, FL – A pursuit ended when the suspect, a woman driving a white Audi, crashed into four vehicles, causing one to overturn, and also ended with officers arresting her and the man with her.
Miami-Dade police said the collision happened Wednesday at the Northeast 82nd Street and Biscayne Boulevard intersection, according to CBS Miami. The reason the chase happened, which started around 1:45 p.m., was because police were trying to pull over the man and woman who were suspects in a shooting in Palm Beach County.
Officers confirmed that it was a police vehicle that flipped over and that despite the damage to the vehicles, no one, including the suspects, was injured.
Police closed Biscayne Boulevard between 81st Street and 84th Street for several hours to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process.
Officers did arrest the man and woman and have not confirmed their charges as of this writing.
