Rear-end crash with dump truck claims life of motorcyclist

JACKSONVILLE, FL – A motorcyclist lost their life after rear-ending a dump truck on Baymeadows Road East around 3:45 a.m. Saturday.

The impact caused the motorcycle to catch on fire, and the motorcyclist succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene, according to News 4 Jax.

The truck driver remained at the scene and was not hurt.
