Rollover crash in St. Petersburg kills 1, hurts another
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A pickup truck crash on the I-275 on-ramp claimed a person’s life Thursday.
The collision occurred near downtown St. Petersburg, WTSP reported. The driver of the pickup truck, a 35-year-old adult, for reasons unknown, lost control of the automobile. As a result, the vehicle rolled over several times and ejected the passenger and driver.
The driver was seriously injured. One passenger, a 30-year-old woman who was wearing a seatbelt, was unharmed. The other passenger, a 36-year-old man, succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male passenger and driver were not belted.
