Rush-hour delays reported following crash on I-10 at McDuff Ave.
JACKSONVILLE, FL -A multi-vehicle crash on I-10 caused traffic delays for morning commuters in Duval County on Wednesday.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reported the incident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near McDuff Avenue around 7:35 a.m.
Initially, authorities advised motorists that the right lane was blocked due to the collision. A Road Ranger was dispatched to the scene, prompting officials to remind drivers to move over or slow down for emergency vehicles.
The lane closure persisted for nearly two hours as crews worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause of the crash.
By 8:39 a.m., FDOT announced that the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
