Scooter vs. car crash in Doral sends 2 to hospital
DORAL, FL – Two people were flown via medical helicopter to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital after a driver of a red car collided with a scooter Thursday.
According to Local 10, this collision happened before 1:15 p.m. at the Northwest 66th Street and 107th Avenue junction, which is northwest of the Doral Wetlands Bird Sanctuary.
Local 10 video footage showed officers bringing the scooter back up from the ground. It also revealed damage to the car’s windshield.
Officials have not confirmed who was responsible for this crash, provided an update on the injured occupants’ conditions, or confirmed the identities of these individuals.
