Sedan rear-ends semi in Yulee claiming man’s life
YULEE, FL – A 20-year-old man from Colorado was killed when he rear-ended a semi-truck with his car on SR-200 East Tuesday, News4Jax reports.
This collision happened in the center lane, and the man, despite wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.
The semi-truck driver, a 41-year-old Tampa man who also wore his seatbelt, was unharmed.
Eyewitnesses said the sedan driver was “speeding past them” but Florida Highway Patrol did not confirm if speed played a role in this wreck.
