Semi, car driver fatally hit woman in St. Johns Co.
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL – A 26-year-old woman lost her life after she was struck by a car and a semi-driver on the I-95 right shoulder Sunday.
This collision happened at mile marker 299, according to News 4 Jax. The woman was hit when she got out of her car to speak to the driver whom she initially collided with.
Right after the woman from Amityville, New York, got out of her vehicle, she was struck by the tractor-trailer driven by a 47-year-old man from Miami.
The female car driver who struck the New York woman was operating a sedan.
