Semi fatally hits man walking in Bradenton
BRADENTON, FL – A man was taken to HCA Florida Blake Hospital, where he later died after he was struck by a semi-truck while walking Friday.
This collision happened before 3 a.m. in the 5500th block of 15th Street E., south of Manasota Memorial Park, according to the Bradenton Herald.
Florida Highway Patrol, paramedics, and fire crews responded to the scene. FHP confirmed the driver remained at the scene. At this time, no criminal charges were filed against the motorist.
