Semi overturns after rear-ending van in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, FL – A driver of a red transit van had suddenly reduced their speed on an I-95 Center lane, leading a semi to overturn after hitting the back of the van Thursday.
This crash happened on the northbound lanes on mile marker 331, north of County Road 210, according to First Coast News.
Florida Highway Patrol said the semi overturned not only after making contact with the van but also when the truck’s left side hit a guardrail, turning clockwise, before stopping on the northbound lanes facing eastbound.
The driver of the semi-truck, a 40-year-old man, and the van driver were unharmed.
