Seven Florida Realtors Killed in Ohio Plane Crash
A tragic plane crash in Akron, Ohio recently left seven realtors from the same firm in Daytona Beach and two pilots dead at the scene. According to the Washington Post, the plane flying across the state of Ohio dropped to a low altitude and then banked a sharp left, which caused its wing to hit the ground before the plane crashed into a house. The fire from the wreckage caused eight homes to be evacuated.
Prior to taking off, the pilot of the doomed twin engine charter jet was warned by another pilot of low visibility but decided to fly anyways. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident, but has not yet found a definitive explanation for the tragedy. Reasons for the crash may include weather and mechanical failure. The NTSB is currently inspecting the recovered plane parts to determine if there were any structural problems with the jet and analyzing a 30-minute audio recording from the cockpit.
